We honor our mothers; they are the women who traveled ships to come to our country, leaving family and friends behind.  They are the women who removed themselves from the comfort of their own mothers to come into a new world, creating a life for their children, creating chance for their children to prosper.  They are the women who climbed onto wagons to join the arduous trek across the wilderness, creating homes for their children, future for their children. They are the women who joined together in a strong community; diverse populations from widely different cultures who created a country that we all call home!  We salute you our Mothers and honor you with love!!!
